Smog Test for Nissan Altima Recently in Accident

I was in an accident recently and I need to know If i will pass a smog check if the headlight is knocked out and there is damage to the front passenger side. I am a new driver so I'm not certain as to what they check during a smog check. I need to get registration for my car before the year ends, thank you.
Answer:

Yes, you'll be able to get a smog check with a damaged front end and headlight. As long as your Nissan is drivable (as in you'll be able to drive it to a smog check station) and the check engine light is not ON, it may be administered a smog check; and if all emission systems are in operating condition, pass the emissions test. A vehicle's body condition or operation of accessories are not inspected during a smog test. The smog inspection is only concerned with the functionality of the engine and emission output.
