2004 Toyota Corolla Missing Emissions Label

I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla and I can't seem to find the control emissions label on my car. From my understanding it's a salvaged car. I went to the DMV to see if they could assist me with the control label and they said they don't provide that there. I live in California, is there any information or resource you may be able to provide me with to find this. The mechanic needs it because since my car hasn't passed the Smog Test he needs this to find the Catalyst needed for my car.
Answer:

A Toyota dealer will be able to look up your vehicle's emission specs from the "public" VIN which is located both on the driver's side door jam and behind the windshield on the lower left hand side (driver's side). You may also use the California Air Resources Catalytic Converter lookup to find the aftermarket EO number of the catalytic converter designed for your 2004 Toyota Corolla. Just a nore...The emission label is not required to pass a smog check. Also, you may be able to order a new emission sticker from Toyota.
