2004 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited - 5.7L Hemi Conversion
to 2004 Dodge Durango engine, what are California emission limits?
I live in Montana and I hope to sell my 2004 Jeep Wrangler which has had an engine(5.7L Hemi)/transmission(545 RFE) conversion done by American Expedition Vehicles. All engine, transmission and exhaust components are intact and were donated from a 2004 Dodge Durango. My potential buyer lives in Santa Barbara, CA. Is there a way I can have my Jeep tested in Montana to California (specifically Santa Barbara) standards to assure he can register the Jeep should he decide to buy the vehicle? Answer:
Copy and paste the link below in a new browser. It is the link to California
Bureau of Automotive Repair emission cut score application. There you will
be able to select your 2004 Jeep Wrangler and follow the chart to find what
the maximum amounts of HC, CO and NOx your Jeep Wrangler can produce and
still pass the California smog check.
