1998 Mercedes Benz ML 320 Oxygen Sensors Not Working

My MBZ has 3 new catalytic converters. It passed the emissions test but a couple of the oxygen sensors are not working, so it failed the smog check. The cost to repair the sensors is very high. Is there any option that we have where we can get a waiver so we do not have to do that repair? Thanks.
Answer:

We recommend looking in to the State of California Consumer Assistance Program. If you are Income Eligible you may apply to California CAP program which will pay up to $500.00 towards smog check repairs for your Mercedes Benz. But you must apply first and wait for approval. Do not spend any money on your own, you will not be reimbursed. Find more information about the CAP program at CAP Smog Repair Assistance Program Center.
