2007 Toyota Camry Lease Buy Out From Toyota Financial Services

I am Purchasing a Toyota Camry that I am currently leasing from Toyota. Who is responsible for the Smog Check?

V C Section 4000.1 Pollution Control Device Certificate or Statement states a vehicle is exempt from smog check if the transfer is between the lessor and lessee of the motor vehicle, and if there is no change in the lessee or operator of the motor vehicle. posted by SmogTips Support
