2003 Honda Civic airbag fault light is on - smog failure or not?

Hi I own a 2003 Honda Civic. Recently my airbag light has been turning on and off. Will it cause me to fail the smog check? My smog test is coming up soon and I have to know if this is going to stop my beloved Civic from passing.

The airbag fault light will not cause your Honda Civic to fail the smog inspection.... but we do highly recommend having it diagnosed. posted by SmogTips Support
