1998 Mercury Villager. Well taken care of. Will it pass the California emissions test?
I have a 1998 Mercury Villager that I have taken care of very well. Can you give me any idea of this vehicle will pass the Californian smog check? This car still runs really well, get oil changes often, and is well maintained. Answer:
Your Mercury should have no trouble passing the California emissions test.
Used cars being brought in to California can pass the smog test as long as
there emissions fall within California smog check emission limits; without
the need to add additional smog components or smog parts. Just make sure
your Mercury Villager is in good running condition and no check engine light
on.
