Can My Acura Integra Pass the Smog Test with Oil Light ON?
I have a 1992 Acura Integra and I was wondering if i would be able to pass the smog test with the engine oil light on, in the state of California? Thank you.
Answer:
The engine oil light will not cause your Acura Integra to fail the smog test. The engine oil light is not part of the smog inspection. It may cause the smog technician to be concerned with low engine oil issues, in which case, he/she can refuse to smog test your Acura. But as far as the smog test is concerned, having the Engine Oil Light illuminated will not cause your Interga to fail the smog check.
