1999 Ford Escort Air Intake Hose No Longer Made

My 1999 Ford Escort failed the visual part of the smog inspection. It will not pass the smog test due to an aftermarket air intake hose assembly that is on it now. It was there when I bought it.

I have talked to Ford and they have said my hose has is no longer being made, and I can try to find one at a junk yard. No junk yards in the US have one because I have called them all. So if you can please help me my car will pass smog, just not the visual. Whatever you can do, thank you.

If they determine an air intake unit for you vehicle is unavailable, either used or new, they may issue you a "Limited Parts Exemption"... though we must mention this happens very rarely.
