I have a question. My Acura Legand didn't pass the smog check it failed. The mechanic said my car failed the emission smog test because of the emission smog test. Failure is high HC,CO, NOx emissions. Do you know how much is it going to cost me to get that fixed? Please help. I need to know how much it is so I know if I could afford to fix it or not. Thank you.
Answer:
The best way to make a decision on whether to pay to fix your Acura Legend or perhaps retire it is by having a smog check repair station conduct a hands-on smog check failure diagnosis. Usually a smog check repair station will charge 2 hours of diagnostics time in order to find out which smog parts were responsible for your Acura Legend's smog failure. Consider using the California Assistance Program; which can help pay for smog check repairs.
