Purchase a 1998 Jeep wrangler from Washington.

I'm thinking about purchasing a 98 Jeep Wrangler that is in Spokane, WA. and bringing it to California. What are the different smog requirements? Will I have trouble passing smog here if it passes there?

The Jeep Wrangler you plan on buying in Washington can be smog checked and registered in California so long as its emissions are low enough to pass the California smog check. If this particular Jeep Wranger is passing the emissions test in Washington, more then likey it will pass in California as well. posted by SmogTips Support
