I have a 2005 Toyota Prius and the Hood was Just Replaced
What do I need to do about all the emission stickers that are under the old hood and not the new one? I had one smog station in Pittsburg refuse to smog a vehicle (a different one) because there was not emmission sticker present. Answer:
Your Toyota Prius will not fail the smog inspection if the Emissions Label is missing. A vehicle may have had its hood replaced and as a result may have lost its original emissions label... such as in this case. Having an emission label affixed under the hood is not a requirement to pass the smog check.
