2006 Honda Civic Hybrid - Do I need a Smog Test?

I am buying a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid. Do I need a smog test? Thank you.

Your 2006 Honda Hybrid is exempt from the California smog check process until further notice. The Hybrid Honda Civic was supposed to begin requiring smog checks in 2010, however the BAR extend the exemption without a future test start date. posted by SmogTips Support
