Out of State Ford Taurus - What kind of smog check do I need?

I am registering an out of state Ford car in los Angeles. I know it will pass. What kind of smog check to do i need? Regular smog test inspection or test only inspection?

For initial California vehicle registration only a regular smog inspection is required, which may be obtained at any type of smog station; smog test only center, regular smog test & repair center, or a CAP Gold Shield smog check station. posted by SmogTips Support
