2002 Chevy Camaro is in Canada and needs California vehicle registration renewal and smog check.

My son is in college in Vancouver, Canada. He paid his registration fee over the internet but now needs to file registration form 256 Statement of Facts, part B, that says he is not in California and cannot get the smog inspection done. He will not be back until August. Will you mail his material to Canada? If so, does he need to send along any extra money to cover postage? Is there anything else he needs to do to get the auto registration completed?

Mail the Statement of Facts Form to the following address: Vehicle Registration Operations Department of Motor Vehicles P. O. Box 942869 Mail Station C271 Sacramento, CA 94269-0001 The vehicle registration stickers will be mailed to the California address on record.
