1990 Toyota Celica GT failed the ignition timing part of the smog test.
I have been unsuccessful in finding anyone who knows how to set or change the ignition timing on my vehicle. Where does one find the information on what needs to be done so I can pass the smog test? Answer:
Setting the ignition timing on your Toyota Celica is not complicated. Unless
a more serious problem exists such as a "jumped" timing belt or improperly
installed distributor, any general auto mechanic, and most certainly, a smog check repair station should be able to set or correct your Toyot's ignition timing for a small fee.
