1998 ford windstar approx 140K miles and will it pass the SMOG test?
We just moved to San Diego from MN. We have 1998 windstar 140K miles two questions:
1. Will it pass smog test? Or I will need additional repairs/tune up.
2. Is it worth spending $1200 in transportation?
Thanks in advance - Subhash Answer:
If your Ford Windstar was well maintained there is no reason for it to fail the California smog check. No additional smog check components are needed to pass a smog inspection in California. As far as, is it worth bringing into California... only you can answer that. Our opinion is that... yes. So long as you kept up the vehicle, for a $50 smog check, you've got a car in San Diego.
