1995 Toyota Corolla - How much gas should I have before smog check?

Should I fill gas in my 1995 Toyota Corolla before I get a smog test today? The gas tank is now 1/3 full of regular gas. Should i fill it with premium gas?
Answer:

It's recommend to have 3/4 tank full of gas, and only the manufacturer recommend octane of fuel; in this case it should be 87 octane. posted by SmogTips Support
