I own a 2000 KIA Sportage, and the check engine light is on, and I know it will not pass smog.
How would I be able to get assistance through your program? I am a single mother that is a full time student at CSU Stanislaus in Turlock, CA. Is there a way for you to help me? Please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you for your time. Answer:
You may apply to the state's Consumer Assistance Program. They will pay up to $500.00 in smog check related repairs. Once you have used up ther $500.00, and your Kia needs more repairs, you can then apply to VRRRM for an additional $500.00.
