Toyota Corolla Needs Enhanced Smog Check

I have a 1999 Toyota Corolla which is registered in San Francisco,CA. Can I get a smog check in Placerville for registration renewal or do I have to go to SF?

Answer:

It looks as if parts of El Dorado county fall into the enhanced smog program. San Francisco too is an Enhanced Smog Program area. We recommend contacting a STAR certified smog center in Placerville.
