Registering my Saturn Ion in California after moving back

I moved from California to Washington state in 2010. My 2004 Saturn Ion was registered in Ca and now in Wa. Will I need to smog check my car when I return to California in order to register my car?
Answer:

Yes you will need to get a new smog check when you return to California. To save time we'd recommed getting the smog test done before visiting the DMV. You do not need any special paperwork to get a smog inspection. Just visit a smog station, tell them you need a smog test for registration purposes, and they will smog it for you. posted by SmogTips Support
