2003 VW Beetle TDI failed emission monitor during smog check

My TDI beetle failed the smog test due to readiness flag status not being set. I've looked at my ODBII Readiness Flag status and I now have all in passed condition except for one called Comprehensive Components. Can I Pass emission with this readiness flag NOT set?
Answer:

The Comprehensive Components Monitor must be "Complete" in order to pass the smog check. California's smog check inspection will allow for one incomplete monitor or readiness flag, however the Comprehensive Components Monitor or Readiness Flag is not one of them. posted by SmogTips Support
