1989 Chevrolet K1500 Emission Hose Diagram Shows No Air Pump

I own a 1989 Chevrolet K1500. The emission hose routing diagram shows no air pump. Is it possible for it to pass the California smog check with stock components, original catalytic converter and new muffler & tail pipes?
