2002 Honda Accord Do I need the DMV Paper to Get Smog Check?

My 2002 Honda requires a Smog Certificate for registration renewal. I did not receive it from the DMV. Do I need to have this in order to get my car's smog certificate?

Answer:

No registration documents will be needed at the smog station (although smog techs usually prefer that customers have them handy). The smog technician can gather the vehicle information he/she need from your 2002 Honda Accord; such as the VIN number, license plate number, model year, so on.
