1997 Lexus ES300 Where is the Evaporative Vapor Pressure Sensor?

My Lexus ES300 has the check engine light on and the trouble code indicates a problem with the Vapor Pressure Sensor. I need to know where the Vapor Pressure Sensor is located and how much the Vapor Pressure Sensor costs. Thank you.

Answer:

Your Lexus ES300's Vapor Pressure Sensor is located on top of the charcoal canister. The charcoal canister is located in the engine compartment on the drivers side, beneath the air cleaner assembly.

The Vapor Pressure Sensor can be replaced independent of the charcoal canister and the cost should be between $60-$100, depending on the OEM brand being used.
