1999 Chrysler 300M Does Title Transfer Need STAR Smog?

I'm going to get a smog test on a Chrysler 300M which I just bought. The car has received a STAR smog check back in April. Now I need another smog check the transfer the title to my name. My question is do I need a STAR smog check again or can I get a regular smog test station?

Answer:

For the purpose of title transfer your Chrysler 300 can get either a STAR smog check or regular, it's your choice. To verify this information call the DMV at (800) 777-0133. Only when the DMV biennially requests a smog check do you have to visit the type of smog check station they indicate. posted by SmogTips Support
