1979 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton, 4x4 V8 350, What smog parts does it need to have?

I need to know what smog components are required for a 79' Chevy, trying to re-build for my father and want to buy parts needed. Truck is our hunting rig, and over the years smog equipment went out the window. Anyways needing to get road and emissions worthy again so your help would be much appreciated. Truck has no smog equip. on it at all so I would need a complete list if you could.
Answer:

Ok, here we go... Your 1979 Chevrolet Silverado is going to need a PCV valve (positive crank ventilation system - this is the little valve on top of the valve cover which directs engine compartment fumes to the intake manifold), an AIS system also known as a smog pump (Air Injection - Pump Type), an Air Cleaner Assembly with the pre-heat tube (this is the duct that connects to the air filter housing on one end and the exhaust manifold cover on the other), an EGR valve (exhaust gas recirculation system), an EVAP system (this is the black charcoal canister usually located on either the front left or right side of the truck) and a two-way CAT (this is the Catalytic Converter - your Chevy needs to have only one. Two-way means it reduces only two emissions CO & HC).
