Will Broken Odometer Fail Ford Mustang Smog Test?

I have a 1994 Ford Mustang with a broken odometer. My car is due for a smog check. I need to know if it will fail the inspection because of the odometer.

The California smog inspection does not check whether or not the odometer is working. So long as the fault causing your Ford Mustang's odometer to not work is not causing the check engine light or MIL to turn on, it can pass the smog check; with the broken odometer. posted by SmogTips Support
