BMW 325xi Check Engine Light for Vacuum Hose

The check engine light on my 2002 BMW 325xi is on. Will the trouble code that has to do with a vacuum hose on my car affect my smog check?

Answer:

Any trouble which causes your BMW's check engine light to illuminate, or sets a trouble code, will cause a smog check failure. You will need to have the vacuum hose problem fixed and the computer codes reset before you get a smog inspection. posted by SmogTips Support
