Honda Accord LX Smog Test Aborted

I own a 1994 Honda Accord LX 2.2L - I received an ABORTED TEST! My Honda past the smog inspection in 2013. I'm on social security a really need the use of my automobile. How do I find out what causes this type of problem. Thank You for your time.

A vehicle might be aborted from the smog test for several reasons. The two most common are reasons are, the vehicle is unable to maintain required RPMs or the smog machine is unable to get a good ignition timing signal from the vehicle. You will need to check with the smog station which inspected your Honda Accord, or review your Vehicle Inspection Report (VIR). The VIR should have been given to your from the smog station which inspected your Honda Accord, and might contain information from the technician regarding the reason for the ABORT. posted by SmogTips Support
