Assistance with California Vehicle Registration Fees

Do you know of any assistance program that can help with paying my vehicle's DMV registration fees? My spouse and I became unemployed recently and still have not been able to obtain new employment. Thank you.

Unfortunately, as of the time of this post, there are no California assistance programs that help pay for vehicle registration fees. All fees must be paid to the DMV in full in order to renew or complete initial vehicle registration in California. We should also note the DMV does not accept credit cards.
