Does 2002 Chevy Avalanche Have EGR Valve or Air Pump?

Hi. I need to know if a 2002 Chevy Avalanche has an air pump and an EGR valve. My truck failed the smog check because the smog technician says it's missing the EGR valve. I am not able to find it either. I need to know if this truck came with one. Also I can not find an air pump. It didn't fail for that and the technician didn't mention anything... so I didn't mention anything, so i just need to know. Does it have, or is it supposed to have an EGR and/or Air Injection system (smog pump)? Thank you.
Answer:

Assuming your 2002 Chevy Avalanche is equipped with a 5.3 liter engine, according to the Motor Emissions Application Guide, it should be equipped with a Linear type EGR valve, but not an air injection system. The EGR valve is electronically controlled and located on the front right hand side of the engine.
