Just smogged our Ford Mustang 4 months ago and now selling. What type of smog check do we need?

We were required to have a "test only" smog check done on our Ford Mustang when we renewed our car 4 months ago. We are now selling the Mustang and I understand we need to have it smogged again. My question is do we have to do a "test only" certification again, or can we have the regular certification done?

For the purposes of "title transfer" when buying or selling any car, you can have your vehicle smog checked at any type of smog check station; test only, regular or gold shield. Basically find the best deal around and get your car smog tested there. posted by SmogTips Support
