1984 Honda Accord automatic, 1.8 liter, failed smog check for HC.

What can I do? My Honda produced HC ppm parts per million measured at 233 15 mph and 235 ppm on 25 mph and failed the smog test. How can I lower my Honda's HC?

Lowering the HC ppm on your 1984 Honda Accord will depend on why the HC ppm was high during the smog check. Was it high because of bad ignition spark, lack of fuel, too much fuel, low compression? There are many problems which would cause your Honda Accord to produce high HC.
