2007 Dodge Caravan purchased out of state needs California smog check.

DODGE Caravan 2007 - purchased out of state and has a sticker that states that it complies with EPA Federal emission standards - what are the differences between the EPA Federal standards and CA emission requirements.
Answer:

It's true, there is a difference with California EPA standards and Federal EPA standards. For the most part California is stricter. However your 2007 Dodge Caravan which is Federal Emissions compliant can pass the California smog inspection process and be legally registered in this state so long as it is equipped with the necessary Federal EPA standard emissions components, and its exhaust emissions fall within California's limits.
