1990 Toyota Corolla. Which type of air filter should I use?

Is there a particular brand of air cleaner that will help me pass the smog test? Is there a particular type of air filter that will help me pass the smog test?

We have to recommend you choose a regular air filter usually made of paper, which is of OEM design. You don't necessarily need to go with the dealer air filter. A plain air filter from a local auto parts store will do. To answer your question directly...
