I just wanted to know if there is a way to manually reset the SRS for a Honda Civic LX 2002. or if there is a place where I can go and get it done cheaper than taking it to the dealer. Answer:
How to reset your SRS light on your Honda Civic. You can reset the SRS light
yourself but the process is a bit technical and requires a SCS Service
Connector. Your best option is to have the Honda dealership reset the SRS
for you.
Some good news... is that your Honda Civic's SRS light problem is part of
the seat belt which has life time warranty. Even though the dealer will
probably want to charge you $65 to $95 to diagnose the problem, they will
not charge you if the problem is with the seat belt buckle, where by the way
the sensor is located. Contact your local Honda dealership.
