What original emission equipment came on this truck

Your 1979 Ford came equipped from the factory with the following emission components. PCV - Positive Crank Ventilation System. It's a small valve located on top of valve cover. Might be on either engine side. A hose connects this valve to the intake manifold. ACL - The is the silver tube that leads from the carb to the exhaust manifold heat shield. AIS - Thermactor system; pump type. EGR - Exhaust gas recirculation valve. EVAP - Also known as Charcoal Canister.
