92 Honda Prelude w/ JDM Motor Replacement. All emission components are connected. Can I smog?

My car requires a "test only" station. All my smog components are connected and I assume are working properly. There are no CEL. Will I be able to pass smog or even visual inspection?? -If not, what are my options?
Answer:

You've got a 50/50 chance of passing the smog test with the JDM engine you've installed. First you will need to visit the State Smog Referee's Office for an Emissions Inspection. The Referee will ensure that the job was done properly and that the new engine does not pollute. If all is well they will issue you a BAR label which will be placed somewhere on your Honda Prelude's chassis. According to the California Air Resources Board, JDM Engines will not pass the California smog inspection. It is possible that a regular smog station may not notice the JDM engine, however the Referree's Office will. And since you have to visit the referee's office after you change the engine, the Referee will notice the engine change and look into to it further to find out what type of engine has been used, and more then likey "not" pass your vehicle's smog test, due to an engine modification.
