1988 Honda Prelude - Battery light is on. Will it fail the smog test?

I changed my alternator, the belt for it, and my battery, but my battery light is still on. Will this auto fail me in a smog check?

The Battery Light is not inspected during the smog check. It will not cause a smog check failure. posted by SmogTips Support
