1995 Saturn SC2 did repairs and maintenance after failed smog check. Do any stations do "pre-test"?

Maintenance and repairs to emmissions system ( clean egr, replace TPS and coolant sensors, new plugs ( copper core)and wires, change oil add treatment to engine oil and fuel system, check trouble codes none after repairs. I just want to be sure it passes need pre-test ( no data sent to DMV. Do any stations do "pre-test"?

All smog check stations offer a pre-test; just make sure you mention you want a pretest before the smog technician begins entering information into the smog machine. A pretest will not stop information from being sent to the BAR, but it will stop the BAR from using the information against your vehicle. In other words, during a pretest, if your vehicle produced GP results, it will not be desginated a s a Gross Polluter vehicle. posted by SmogTips Support
