I have a 1985 BMW 528e. Question about the vehicle buy back program.

I just wanted to know how to apply and how long it usually takes for the whole process to go through. Do all cars get $1000?
Answer:

All cars do get $1000.00 regardless of the condition they are in; so long as the vehicle is driveable, has no missing doors (body parts), no damaged glass, and in overall "ok" shape. The process usually takes 2-3 weeks, and you can get accepted in the program so long as funds are available. In case buy back money has run out you would have to wait until next year to apply again. posted by SmogTips Support
