1998 Jaguar xj8 L
47000 miles
need catalytic converters, right and left
air mass flow sensor
I have a 1998 Jaguar xj8 L ,only 47000 miles and need right & left catalytic converters, air mass flow sensor and anything else that is necessary to pass ca. legal. I am low income and ca. is breaking me even more, 49 states don't require these expensive special parts that ca. does, what ca. department can help me please I am searched out. Answer:
You don't need to install any California emissions components to Jaguar to
get it to pass the California smog check as long as no 49-state emissions
components have not been removed from your car. In other words... A used
vehicle being brought into California can pass California's smog test with
only the emissions components it was shipped with from the manufacture. I
hope this information is a relief. Just remember your Jaguar's emissions
need to fall within California's limits.
